We're all there to help one another improve: from people in their first job, on the executive ladder or retired, those in promotion, in tertiary study, experienced or inexperienced speakers - there's room for everyone and we welcome visitors and new members.Guests are very welcome to attend a club meeting or other function and

View Larger Map About UsSince our inception in 1986 the membership base of St George?s Toastmasters has grown from strength to strength. With a base of over 30 members, our club nurtures speakers at all speaking levels in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.If you ever visit St Georges Toastmasters, you'll discover that we're ... well, .... different! In the nicest possible way, of course. Bright and early in the morning members of St Georges get up at 6am to start the Wednesday meeting at 6.45am. This sets up a great day, and inspires and energises all. Different things motivate everyone. Some members, to overcome one of our greatest fears, public speaking, others for networking opportunities or simply to learn greater communication skills. All skills learned in Toastmasters are transferable to our work, home and personal environments. There is a wonderful mix of experienced and youthful members. Each
member is encouraged to develop at their own pace and have their own
