Trips Away
St Georges has had a couple of very successful weekends away over the last couple of years(Margaret River, December 2006 and Club Capricorn, 2005).The weekend is a mix of social and educational components, usually including a standard meeting as well as some educational workshops where members share their knowledge of public speaking techniques and business tools.
If you would like to suggest a destinaton to get involved in the planning of a weekend away, please contact the committee.
Speechcraft
St Georges is always looking for Speechcraft programs. Members of all experience levels are welcome. It is a very rewarding experience.Speechathons
Are you an advanced speaker that needs to fit in an extra long speech, or perhaps you're just itching to get through your first 10 projects.Why not talk to the committee about holding a Speechathon? Even better, why not volunteer to host one?
